They are vocational qualifications which mean that whilst providing one, two or three A-Level equivalent qualification in Business they also provide students with the opportunity to learn and develop skills for employment.
Additionally you need to be able to work hard and meet deadlines. A: It is an internationally recognised qualification from the Edexcel exam board that is respected and accepted by UK employers and universities. It is a course that lasts two years and has 18 units altogether unlike the Advanced VCE that is only worth two Double Award.
What will I study? Extended Diplomas are delivered as two one year programmes: Year 1 — Extended Certificate or Foundation Diploma Year 2 — Diploma or Extended Diploma and students progressing to year 2 are expected to have satisfactorily completed their first year programme before progressing to the second year.
These are specialist courses which focus on the education and training of students who are interested in a career in business. Others Business courses include: Administration and eBusiness strategy. There are also exams in the course that are taken in January and May. You will be expected to complete assignments at home and work in class.
Even so a student has a wide number of possible subject combinations but may be wise to consider ones that are not coursework based because of the heavy commitment to producing work outside the classroom.
